The following unedited footage originates from Deutschland during the years of the 3rd Reich and it has never been published, until now. It offers a slight glimpse of what regular life was like for the German population and their interactions during social events. It is viewed through the lens of a private individual, and we believe it is part of a family collection.
The first video is titled 'The Wedding' and lasts approximately 30 minutes. The video clip is shown 'as is', in its original state, and it has no color or sound. A wedding is taking place where attendees range from mid-level to higher hierarchy SS Nazi party members, which have never been identified, as far as we know. Due to lack of context, it is difficult to pinpoint certain locations, although some footage suggests it was taken near the city of Cologne and the countryside.
The release of this footage is only intended for educational purposes and to serve the 'historical memory' of an era. It is also a for-profit effort. Respectfully, it is in no way intended as a political, religious, social, cultural, organizational or any other type of statement or offensive connotation. We apologize if any individual, group, association or party is offended by this footage, and any offensive images are not intentional. Our efforts are merely to illustrate, educate, and show a different perspective of social and cultural behaviors during a convoluted time in history.
